Acute Persistent Visual Loss: Keratitis What causes it? Infection, inflammation, trauma and drying. They cause opacification or erosion of the cornea. Blurred vision is usually sudden, and accompanied by pain, foreign-body sensation, and an hyperemic conjunctiva. What to do?
