- Past medical history: systemic lupus erythematosus with renal transplantation and chronic immunosuppression
- Recent history of varicella zoster meningoencephalitis
- Initially found to have posterior uveitis OS treated with Pred Forte 1% and Atropine 1% without resolution of symptoms
