- 12-year-old girl presents for decreased visual acuity since birth with latent nystagmus.
- Fitted with glasses since 9 months; regular glasses changes, never able to achieve better than 20/40 vision
- Referred for suspected retinal dystrophy
- Strabismus surgery age 4 for esotropia
- Full term, uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery
- Possible developmental delay
