• 84-year-old man with blurry vision centrally in the left eye after cataract extraction 8 weeks ago
• Patient had considerable improvement in his peripheral vision after cataract surgery, but reading vision has decreased over past three weeks
• Past medical history and past ocular history otherwise unremarkable
