Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada Syndrome

Differential Diagnosis

  • Sympathetic ophthalmia: history of prior trauma
  • Primary intraocular lymphoma: usually older patients; no leakage on fluorescein angiogram
  • Sarcoidosis: serous retinal detachments are unusual
  • Uveal effusion syndrome: minimal intraocular inflammation; no systemic manifestations
