- A 26-year-old man presents with a history of poorly controlled insulin-dependent diabetes for 22 years
- Patient was seen one year prior to presentation and diagnosed with severe proliferative diabetic retinopathy OU. Patient deferred treatment at that time and did not return for follow-up care.
- Patient has received panretinal photocoagulation OU in the past
