Two more LASIK seminars for UM employees

Ann Arbor—The UM Kellogg Eye Center will present two sessions on LASIK and other refractive procedures during the University’s Open Enrollment. On October 17, from noon till 1:00 p.m., Dr. Shahzad Mian will speak in room 1180 in the Teleconference Suite at the Media Union on North Campus. On October 24, from noon till 1:00 p.m., Dr. Qais Farjo will speak in Room G076C in Wolverine Tower, 3003 S. State Street.

At these noon times sessions, the Kellogg physicians will review the questions you should ask before deciding on laser or other vision correction. They will explain the various procedures, eye conditions that preclude surgery, and what to expect after the procedure. The talks are timed with Open Enrollment because at this time, UM employees can create Flexible Spending Accounts allowing them to use pretax dollars to pay for the procedure.
