Kellogg offers expanded services in facial cosmetic surgery
If you are considering facial cosmetic surgery, you will find an expanded array of services at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. For many years, surgeons at Kellogg have performed surgeries of the eye and surrounding structures; now they also will offer patients the full range of cosmetic procedures for the face.
Adam S. Hassan, M.D., will serve as director of Kellogg's Facial Cosmetic Surgery Service. In addition to his facial cosmetic surgery practice, Dr. Hassan routinely treats patients requiring oculoplastic, facial plastic, and orbital surgery. He sees patients in Kellogg's Ann Arbor and Canton offices.
Dr. Hassan received his medical degree, completed his residency training in ophthalmology, and completed a fellowship in eye plastic, orbital, and facial cosmetic surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Hassan is board certified, has completed requirements for membership in the American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has received extensive additional training in facial cosmetic surgery.
As a member of Kellogg's Eye Plastic, Orbital and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Service, Dr. Hassan joins a team of recognized oculoplastic specialists who diagnose, manage and treat disorders of the eyelids and sockets, including congenital malformations, trauma, tumors, and eyelash abnormalities as well as performing all reconstructive surgery dealing with the eye.
The UM Kellogg Eye Center is a nationally recognized vision care and research center. Kellogg ophthalmologists conduct nearly 120,000 patient visits each year, offering an exceptional range of services. Kellogg also serves as a regional referral resource, providing specialty vision care that may not be available in other communities. The Eye Center has a strong vision research program aimed at finding new therapies and treatments for blinding eye disease.
