Recent Graduates from the Ophthalmology Residency Program

The University of Michigan Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences accepts seven residents each year into its three-year program. They come from all over the country and all over the world. We are considered among the top programs in the nation. Your residency begins with the 4th of July picnic and ends with a celebratory dinner that includes a resident-produced video retrospective of the past three years. As you will see below, our residents are well prepared to enter academic medicine or private practice.
